Pokémon: Wild Card

Pokémon: Wild Card is a new animated film produced by The Pokémon Company, marking the franchise's return to theaters after a seven-year hiatus. Set to release in Japan in 2027, the movie introduces a new protagonist who dreams of becoming a Pokémon Trading Card Game champion. It is animated by CloverWorks and represents a shift in the film series' direction, moving away from the previous OLM studio and the character of Ash.
